Position Description
Rita's Italian Ice in Gretna, NE is looking for treat team members to join our awesome team. We are located on 21407 Nebraska Crossing. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, punctual, and engaged. Performs tasks required for the preparation and presentation of Rita’s products to its customers, and for the maintenance of the Rita’s store premises and equipment
Responsibilities
1. Prepare Ices, Creams, Blendis, and other beverages per procedures.
2. Insert, rotate, and remove food items; monitor correct preparation, product color/smell, taste.
3. Finish, and present to customer completed food items.
4. Take orders accurately and in a customer friendly manner.
5. Prepare drinks and orders as appropriate.
6. At all times, exhibit a friendly, courteous attitude toward customers and co-workers.
7. Greet customers, urgency, eye contact, smile, & thank you.
8. Accurately operate cash registers.
9. Set up equipment, utensils, supplies, and physical facility for opening.
10. Open and close store in appropriate manner.
11. Break down, clean, and put away equipment, utensils, and supplies at closing.
12. Perform cleaning and maintenance procedures, as directed by checklists.
13. Comply at all times with Rita’s dress code and personal appearance standards.
Qualifications-
-Must possess the following traits: positive attitude, teachable spirit, and outgoing personality.
-Must have dependable transportation available and be able to be readily contacted by phone.
-Must comply with state and federal age restriction regulations regarding operation of equipment in the store.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS OF THE JOB
-Must be able to perform the tasks outlined above
-Must be able to stand for long periods, work with agility, and occasionally work long hours including weekends and holidays as determined by mall and Home Office
-Must be able to see, hear, and speak (for communication and safety)
-Must be able to test products by taste, color, and smell
-Must be able to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
