Rita’s Italian Ice & Frozen Custard

We are looking for a dependable, hardworking Italian Ice Maker to join our team! This position is responsible for making our Italian Ice fresh in-store while maintaining Rita’s quality, cleanliness, and food-safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Make Italian Ice fresh according to Rita’s recipes and procedures
• Follow recipes and measurements accurately
• Maintain proper product quality and consistency
• Maintain the proper consistency of Italian Ice in the dip boxes throughout the shift
• Monitor inventory and daily production needs
• Properly label, store, and rotate products
• Clean and sanitize production equipment and work areas
• Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures
• Assist with other store duties as needed

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older
• Evening and weekend availability is required
• Must have reliable transportation
• Dependable and punctual
• Able to follow recipes and instructions accurately
• Comfortable working independently
• Able to stand for extended periods and perform physical/repetitive tasks
• Must maintain a clean and organized work area

Experience is helpful but not required. Training will be provided.
